River Country Co-op is seeking a Feed Mill Operator for our Feed Mill located in Owen , WI.

The Mill Operator is responsible for operating a Repete Automation System to safely and efficiently produce high quality livestock feed from 12 noon to 8 pm Monday thru Friday. We are not open on the weekends or holidays.

You must be reliable, dependable and have a high desire to learn more. This position will offer compensation up to $30 per hour.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

Ø Operate Repete Automation system to manufacture feed.

Ø Organize load board for maximum efficiency.

Ø Sequence feed production to minimize mixing errors and contamination.

Ø Direct Mill Assistant to dump hand adds.

Ø Keep load board updated with driver info and load details.

Ø Monitor mill bin inventory and communicate to purchasing as needed.

Ø Participate in weekly production meeting and mill huddle ups.

Ø Document any automation or equipment issues and report them to Operations Manager

Qualifications and Skills

Ø Must be reliable and a self starter.

Ø Must be organized and able to manage multiple priorities at a time.

Ø Must be able to work in a variety of conditions (warm and cold).

Ø Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.

Ø Must be able to work around a dusty environment.

Ø Possess a positive attitude toward co-workers, customers and vendors.

Ø Must be a team player and possess ability to collaborate with others.

Ø Must possess a servant heart towards helping others
