River Country Co-op is looking for a friendly, reliable, and energetic Country Store Associate for our Merrill, WI location.

This position will be afternoon shifts, working 15-20 hours per week.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers in a courteous and professional manner

Operate cash register and handle transactions accurately

Restock shelves and ensure displays are clean, organized, and well-stocked

Assist with inventory management and receiving deliveries

Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the store, including sweeping, dusting, and trash disposal

Answer customer questions about products, pricing, and store policies

Follow all safety and security procedures

Support daily opening and closing procedures as required

Qualifications:

• Must have great communication skills and the ability to work as a team
• Must be able to navigate through computer system
• Willing to be certified in forklift training to load feed for customers
• Fill propane tanks (will be trained and certified)
• Adhere to scheduled work week
• Must be reliable and prompt when reporting to work

All candidates must be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs. Requires long periods of time standing, frequent bending, twisting and reaching.
