River Country Co-op is currently seeking a full-time employee for their intermodal loading facility where we load containers of soybeans and distiller grains to many eastern Asian countries.

This position will play a vital role in our ability to access export markets around the world. This employee will be responsible for following procedures with the CN rail yard for pulling and returning containers, loading soybeans and distillers as well as general maintenance on equipment.

Intermodal Operations Job Responsibilities:

• Loading/Unloading trucks & Containers
  • Ensure grain is binned accordingly
• Container Logistics
  • Pull containers the day of or day before loading
  • Return containers at time of reservations
  • Load containers before reservations are expired
• Safety conscious

    • Confined Space Entry Permits
    • Hot Work Permits
    • Equipment maintenance logs
    • Lock out/Tag out procedures
  • Equipment maintenance
    • Grease bearings, tighten chains, dryer maintenance, etc

    • Truck ticket accuracy
    • Contract application
  • Site Cleanliness
    • Grain spills
    • Scrap steel
    • Power wash buildings
    • Lawn Maintenance
    • Maintain a clean working environment
  • Other duties as requested
