White Leghorn

Available year-round, White Leghorns are the top producer of large white eggs.

 

Brown

Males are buff color with a few dark feathers and weigh 5-6 lbs. at 20-22 weeks. The females are reddish brown and weigh 5 lbs. at maturity. Browns lay well, are easy to handle, and are extremely hardy.

 
Black

Black

The Black is an excellent bird for egg and meat production, and lay well under most farm conditions. Males are black with white flecks, and females are basically black.

Special Black

Bred for the Asian Market, special blacks are solid in color. Special Blacks have a reputation for great livability and hardiness and grown slightly faster and bigger than the regular Black
