The Front of House Manager at 29 Pines is responsible for leading the head host and the bar manager. Together, the three of these positions provide top care to the customers, keep the staff happy and engaged, and report directly to the Restaurant Manager.

Business activities:

*Organizing marketing activities, such as promotional events and discount

schemes;

*Preparing cash drawers and providing petty cash as required;

*Preparing reports at the end of the shift/week, including staff control, food

control and sales;

*Providing accurate paperwork to Main office Daily. Reconcile Credit Cards. *Depositing Cash/Checks into Bank Daily;

Front of House:

*Coordinating the entire operation of the restaurant during scheduled shifts;

*Hiring, & managing staff and providing them with feedback;

*Responding to customer complaints;

*Ensuring that all employees adhere to the company’s uniform standards;

*Meeting and greeting customers and organizing table reservations;

*Advising customers on menu and wine choice

*Training and motivating staff;

*Organizing and supervising the shifts of wait staff, bar staff, and cleaning staff.

*Filling in as server, hostess, wait staff, bar staff as needed.

*Assisting with banquet events as needed

Housekeeping:

*Maintaining high standards of quality control, hygiene, and health and safety;

*Checking stock levels and ordering supplies;

*Helping in any area of the restaurant when circumstances dictate.

The Front of House manager is in charge of the business’s day-to-day operations, such as understanding and managing profit-loss statements of the restaurant, managing front-of-the-house staff and coordinating all communications between hospitality management.

Organizational Skills

A restaurant has a lot of moving parts. Coordinating everything and keeping it all functioning without a hitch will take attention to detail and a commitment to organization.

Convention Center

To supervise operations, staff, and events regarding the convention center. Assist the Event Coordinator with planning and setting up events regarding staffing requirements, food requirements, etc… Be available to be present to overlook the smooth functioning of the event and anticipate any problems that might take place and try and eliminate them.

The Front of House Manager may be required to perform tasks outside of job description when needed. This includes but is not limited to helping in any capacity when able, working on unscheduled days, working long days, or not having consecutive days off.
