Summer Internship opportunity to work in Credit Department at our Owen, Wi Corporate Office.

Job description

• Assist in underwriting and onboarding of new consumer and business accounts
• Credit bureau pulls
• Court record searches
• Credit references
• Manage credit application work flow to department standards
• Communication of new account set up with RCC Departments
• Assist in account set up on computer system
• File documentation and retention on computer system

• Assist in account maintenance of existing accounts
• Contact information
• Credit line monitoring and maintenance
• Duplicate account maintenance

• Customer service in credit and office complex in Owen
• Answering phone customer questions regarding invoices and payments
• Responding to customer emails on credit

• Assist with collection of select lower balance past due accounts
• Calls
• Letter
• Emails
• Court files
• Collection agency placements and audit

• Assist promoting home heating budget program via phone contact with select customers
• Assist in marketing of electronic statements and invoices
• Other projects and tasks as assigned

Program criteria

• Must be a full-time enrolled student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree
• Minimum 3.0 GPA preferred
• Must be able to complete a minimum 12-week commitment beginning in May, 2021
• Must be able to complete 40 hours per week
• Willingness to learn from others on the job

Compensation and Benefits
